Matrix Computer Aided Design
Created by jewellers for jewellers, the award-winning software Matrix was developed to help jewellery designers model unique pieces using step by step builders to allow maximum creative freedom.
Running for 6 consecutive mornings from 9:30 until 1:30, with our lab available for further practice in the afternoons, our Level 1 class using Matrix 9.0 is aimed at those entirely new to Matrix CAD.
One 4-hour class per day for 6 days (9.30am - 1.30pm daily) with additional studio time available after class.
Step by step instruction covering technical jewellery design and rendering using Matrix CAD

6. Designing your own final project.
Coming from out of town?
We have a few options in terms of accommodation. Many students stay in Nadi Bangsar or The Establishment where you can get a whole new studio apartment to yourself, both are available on Airbnb and are a 5 minute grab ride from the studio (which costs about 5 Ringgit). The other option is a serviced apartment called The Nomad which is bookable through Expedia etc, this is about 7 minutes walk to the studio. All these options cost approximately USD 30 per night. A firm favourite seems to be Nadi however because there’s a great selection of restaurants within 2 minutes walk as well as a decent coffee shop - most important!
In terms of food, eating out if you like Malaysian / Indian food is super cheap - one meal will probably cost less than USD 3. Food at the supermarket costs pretty much the same as US / UK / Australia,
It’s a pretty easy city to hang out in, most people speak English and transport via grab is super cheap. And there’s plenty of sights to see at the weekend too.
